First Responders are faced with traumatic experiences on a regular basis as part of their jobs. They have unique challenges that have a long term impact on their personal and professional lives. I have at least 10 years experience working with this population. I specialize in trauma treatment with First Responders, EMS personnel and military personnel as well as their family members. I am also certified and have extensive experience with Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and Crisis Management. I am certified with the IAFF Peer Support Training Program and act as a peer support clinician and director of the behavioral health program for the Professional Fire Fighters of Maine
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing treatment. Many have experienced the healing effects of listening and being validated in the therapeutic environment. I am EMDR certified, CISD, a Certified Trauma Counselor as well as dually licensed with Maine and New Hampshire. I also offer telehealth options when it is deemed appropriate.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life in a stigma free environment..
